Job Description

JACKFRUIT ADVENTURE:

SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

Behind Jackfruit Adventure is a team of diverse personalities united by one goal: delivering unforgettable experiences with heart. We're now looking for the next piece of our team to position: Social Media Intern.

RESPONSIBILITIESContent Creation & Scheduling:

Create and manage a content calendar aligned with Jackfruit Adventure's brand, campaigns, and goals
Produce short-form video content, including idea development, script writing, filming, and basic editing
Schedule posts and manage the social media across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring consistency and timely posting

Community Engagement:

Monitor social media channels for comments and messages
Assist in responding to inquiries and engaging with our online community

Learning and Development:

Actively participate in training and learning opportunities
Stay up-to-date on social media best practices and tools
Learn about the travel and adventure industry

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

A passion for social media and a strong interest in the industry
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Experience or strong interest in photography and videography (smartphone or camera).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Creative and enthusiastic attitude
Knowledge of MS Office and other productivity applications and platforms.

Working hours: 5 days a week, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with 1 dedicated work-from-home day
