Role Description

Brand & Strategy:

  • Manage and develop brand presence across platforms: Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, and others
  • Build and execute social media strategy aligned with each GTM phase
  • Ensure consistency in tone of voice, visual identity, and messaging across all channels
  • Craft and evolve brand narrative that resonates with Web3 audience.

  • Content & Community Engagement:

+ Plan content calendar and coordinate posting with Content Creator

+ Monitor and respond to engagement in a timely, authentic manner

+ Guide user journey from social platforms to core channels (website, app, Discord, etc.)

+ Foster community conversations that drive product awareness and adoption

  • Community-Centric Approach:

+ Recognize that social channels are where Web3 communities form and engage

+ Build authentic relationships with community members, not just broadcast messages

+ Leverage social listening to understand community sentiment and needs

+ Create viral moments and engagement that amplify community voice

  • Performance & Optimization:

+ Track social metrics and optimize performance based on data insights

+ Make data-driven decisions on content types, posting times, and platform focus

+ Manage crisis communication and reputation management

+ Collaborate with Community Manager and Growth Manager to amplify campaigns

Qualifications

  • Essential
  • 2-4 years experience as Social Media Manager, preferably in Web3/Tech
  • Deep expertise in Twitter/X marketing within crypto space
  • Strong understanding that community engagement is the key to Web3 success
  • Excellent storytelling skills and ability to craft compelling narratives
  • Experience managing multiple social channels simultaneously
  • Creative in generating engagement and viral moments
  • Product-driven mindset: ability to translate product updates into engaging social content
  • Data-driven approach using social media analytics and reporting tools
  • Growth mindset: experimental with content formats and engagement tactics
  • Strong aesthetic sense for visual content coordination
  • Flexibility to work across time zones (Web3 is a 24/7 market)
  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Preferred
  • Portfolio of successful social campaigns in Web3
  • Understanding of meme culture and crypto Twitter dynamics
  • Experience with Discord and Telegram community management
  • Knowledge of Web3 social platforms (Lens, Farcaster, etc.)
