Our client is a leading international provider of assurance, auditing, compliance, and sustainability solutions, supporting global brands and supply chains across manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, and sourcing industries. As part of their continued growth in Vietnam, they are seeking an experienced Social Compliance - Lead Auditor (APSCA CSCA) to join their expanding sustainability and responsible sourcing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Compliance Auditing
- Plan, lead, and conduct social compliance audits for local and international clients across various industries.
- Perform assessments against recognized social compliance standards and customer codes of conduct, including SMETA, amfori BSCI, RBA, SA8000, and other responsible sourcing frameworks.
- Evaluate compliance related to labor practices, human rights, working conditions, health & safety, wages and benefits, working hours, management systems, and ethical business conduct.
- Identify non-conformities, compliance risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support clients in strengthening their social responsibility programs and meeting global supply chain requirements.
Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability
- Participate in responsible sourcing, ESG, and sustainability assessments across manufacturing and supply-chain environments.
- Review management systems and organizational practices to ensure alignment with international standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide practical recommendations to improve sustainability performance, governance, and social compliance outcomes.
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends, regulatory developments, and evolving customer requirements related to human rights due diligence and responsible business practices.
Reporting & Client Management
- Prepare professional audit reports in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Present audit findings, corrective actions, and improvement recommendations to client management teams.
- Verify corrective action implementation and monitor closure of identified findings.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients while ensuring audit integrity, independence, and professionalism.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, auditor development, and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or related disciplines.
- APSCA Registered Auditor (CSCA) qualification is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social compliance auditing, responsible sourcing, ethical trade, sustainability, ESG, EHS, or related fields.
- Solid experience conducting social compliance audits against standards such as SMETA, BSCI, RBA, SA8000, or equivalent programs.
- Professional auditor certifications and management system auditing qualifications are highly advantageous.
- Strong auditing, interviewing, investigation, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Chinese language capability would be a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively for audit assignments throughout Vietnam and the region.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, customer orientation, and commitment to ethical auditing practices.
