JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supervision of Contractor Construction Activities (Civil Works and MEP):
- Quality Supervision: Inspect materials, equipment, and construction procedures to ensure compliance with technical standards and design requirements.
- Progress Monitoring: Track, evaluate, and urge contractors to perform work according to the approved schedule.
- Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection Supervision: Oversee contractors in implementing safety measures and environmental protection during construction.
- Construction Quantity Supervision: Monitor and verify actual construction quantities against design and contract quantities to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Documentation Management: Prepare and manage all documents and records related to construction supervision activities.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, periodic, or ad-hoc reports on the status of construction supervision for management and the investor.
- Issue Resolution: Promptly identify and propose solutions for technical, quality, schedule, and safety issues arising during construction.
- Error Control: Recommend corrective actions for contractor errors, defects, or violations during construction to ensure compliance and proper remediation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in construction supervision and contractor management.
- Knowledge of QA/QC inspection and quality control procedures.
- Proficient in project scheduling and progress control.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Willingness to work on project sites in various provinces as assigned by the company.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in scheduling software such as MS Project, and design tools like AutoCAD, BIM/REVIT, and other relevant software.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Water Supply and Drainage, Infrastructure Engineering, or other related technical fields.
- Able to communicate and perform tasks in English.
- Mandatory: Possession of a minimum Grade II Construction Supervision Practice Certificate.
- Advantageous: Possession of a Fire Protection Certificate.
- Advantageous: Possession of a Workplace Safety and Hygiene Training Certificate.
