We are seeking a Site Manager to lead the business unit in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This role will involve managing and overseeing overall plant operations, including financials, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, materials, quality assurance/control, and human resources, while also overseeing continuous improvement efforts to maximize equipment efficiency, personnel productivity, yield optimization, and ensuring the achievement of the companys business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and long-term planning of the plant, ensuring efficiency across safety, production, logistics, accounting, administration, stock, purchasing, and IT.
- Directly lead, manage, and coach all office functions and production teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure high-quality production with minimal waste, meeting company standards and continuous improvement objectives.
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships, including with local authorities, suppliers, vendors, and company HQ for managerial discussions.
- Implement and oversee HR policies, incentive programs, and employee development to nurture a culture of shared success and professionalism.
- Provide leadership and coaching to team leaders, offering regular feedback, performance evaluations, and professional growth opportunities.
- Ensure production, logistics, and maintenance align with company goals, delivering on-time market demand while optimizing costs.
- Manage plant financials, cost control, and reporting, ensuring close coordination with other locations
- Oversee procurement and stock management, ensuring compliance with companys policies and minimizing discrepancies.
- Ensure the safety, maintenance, and efficiency of plant structures, machinery, and investment projects.
- Drive strategic improvements to enhance processes, increase efficiency, and align with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.
- MUST: Minimum 7 years of proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar executive role.
- MUST: Fluent in English and Thai (both written and verbal).
- ADVANTAGE: Experience in global manufacturing companies in Vietnam, with knowledge of key business processes (Production, Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability, provide constructive feedback, and manage teams of 70+ people.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with strong analytical skills to define issues, collect data, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
