We are looking for a Site Manager who can take ownership of construction delivery, bring clarity to a fast-moving site, and coordinate people, information, quality, safety, and progress with discipline.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands that site management is not only about pushing work forward.

It is about making the right decisions at the right time, protecting design intent, solving problems early, maintaining standards, and helping the whole project team deliver what was promised to the client.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of site delivery

• Manage day-to-day construction activities and maintain overall control of site progress.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, and other project participants.
• Ensure work is executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Identify delays, coordination issues, and risks early and drive timely resolution.
• Maintain clear visibility of priorities, dependencies, and upcoming activities.
  
  

Protect quality throughout construction

• Monitor workmanship and material quality continuously, not only at final inspection.
• Check that completed work reflects approved design intent and technical requirements.
• Identify defects, incomplete work, and quality risks before they become larger problems.
• Coordinate corrective actions and follow through until issues are properly closed.
• Support mock-ups, samples, inspections, testing, and quality reviews where required.
  
  

Coordinate the project as one system

A construction site is where every discipline meets.

You will work closely with Project Management, Design, Technical Design, MEPF, QS, Procurement, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives.

This Includes

• Resolving interfaces between architectural, MEPF, furniture, finishes, and specialist works.
• Confirming that site conditions match the information used in design and planning.
• Escalating discrepancies early when the site reality differs from drawings or assumptions.
• Helping the project team make practical decisions when design, cost, technical requirements, and programme interact.
  
  

Manage programme and site priorities

• Understand the project programme and translate it into clear short-term site priorities.
• Coordinate work sequences to reduce clashes, rework, and unnecessary waiting.
• Monitor actual progress against plan and report issues accurately.
• Work with the Project Manager to recover delays and protect key milestones.
• Ensure upcoming work has the information, materials, manpower, access, and approvals needed before it starts.
  
  

Maintain a safe and disciplined site

• Promote a strong culture of safety and professional site behaviour.
• Ensure works follow project HSE requirements, approved procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate site access, housekeeping, protection, storage, and work zones.
• Identify unsafe conditions and take action before work continues.
• Support a site environment where safety is treated as part of good management, not a separate compliance exercise.
  
  

Solve problems early

• Review site conditions and identify practical issues before they affect construction.
• Coordinate RFIs, technical clarifications, and site decisions with the appropriate teams.
• Distinguish between issues that can be resolved on site and those that require design, commercial, or client decisions.
• Avoid temporary fixes that create downstream problems.
• Keep accurate records of important decisions, changes, and site conditions.
  
  

Support testing, completion and handover

• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and final completion activities.
• Ensure outstanding items are tracked and closed systematically.
• Support handover documentation and final project records.
• Help deliver a workplace that is clean, complete, operational, and ready for the client to use.
• Capture lessons learned that can improve future project delivery.
  
  

Site leadership in Design & Build

At Huynchi, the Site Manager is not simply the person who receives drawings and tells subcontractors what to build.

You are part of an integrated Design & Build team.

That means understanding the intent behind the work, communicating site reality back to the team, and helping connect design decisions with construction consequences.

A good Site Manager protects progress.

A strong Site Manager also protects quality, safety, design intent, cost awareness, client trust, and the long-term performance of the finished space.

Qualifications

You may be a strong fit for this role if you have:

• A degree or relevant technical qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, or a related field.
• Relevant experience managing interior fit-out, workplace, commercial, or Design & Build construction projects.
• A strong understanding of interior construction methods, sequencing, finishes, and MEPF coordination.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple work packages on active sites.
• The ability to read and interpret architectural, technical, and MEPF drawings.
• Good understanding of construction quality, site safety, and project controls.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate clearly with subcontractors, consultants, clients, and internal project teams.
• Good organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.
• Strong ownership and attention to detail.
• Confidence making practical site decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Willingness to use digital tools and learn better ways of managing construction information.
  
  

Experience in workplace or commercial interior fit-out projects will be an advantage.
