Role Objectives
- Ensure arranged shipments meet on time shipping schedule
- Ensure payment documents are issued to banks/customer on time
Direct Reports: None
Reporting to: Senior Shipping Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with suppliers, third-party-logistics, distribution centers and logistics team to solve shipping issues in different countries
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics, including international transport, storehouse management, vendor management.
- Manage third party transportation providers and monitor their performance
- Monitor daily operation to comply with customers and forwarders requirements
- Liaise closely with freight forwarders and carriers
- Follow up on shipment orders by coordinating with suppliers and merchandisers
- Handle full set of I/E documents, shipping procedures and custom declaration
- Follow up the shipment and delivery status with forwarders, shipping line or clients as per sales team requests
- Manage each shipment delivery to ensure all required steps are completed and goods are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Work with all vendors to follow up on order status and to provide the shipping instructions
- Liaise with suppliers, forwarders, ensuring all applicable documentation is in place and fully compliant for Import/Export
- Liaise with shipping forwarders to request shipping rates and make freight comparisons
- Handle enquiries from our internal teams for shipments and order tracking
- Maintain shipping records for all shipments, keeping shipments records up to date administration, filing and data entry

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related fields
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the shipping field
- Familiar with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel
- Able to work independently, well-organized and detail-oriented
- Good command of English language
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage
