Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, high-caliber ServiceNow Consultant for an immediate 6-month contract engagement. This role sits at the intersection of technical delivery and business consulting. You will not only configure the ServiceNow platform but also act as a trusted advisor to our corporate clients, guiding them through business process optimization.

Because you will be interacting heavily with stakeholders in a Japanese corporate ecosystem, business-level fluency in Japanese and a deep understanding of Japanese business etiquette are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or significantly contribute to the deployment of ServiceNow modules (such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or related applications) from discovery to go-live.
  • Advise corporate clients on process design, best practices, and workflow optimization rather than simply executing technical configurations.
  • Act as the primary technical/functional bridge for the Japanese side, running workshops, gathering requirements, and presenting solutions to corporate stakeholders.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow forms, workflows, access control lists (ACLs), and business rules based on refined business needs.

Technical Capabilities:

  • Practical, hands-on experience deploying ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or equivalent).
  • You must have a proven track record of at least one ServiceNow implementation case study that has successfully gone live with a real enterprise customer.
  • Holding a valid ServiceNow certification such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly advantageous.
Consulting & Language Capabilities:

  • Business-level Japanese is required. You must be comfortable conducting technical discussions, writing documentation, and managing client relations in Japanese (or possess dedicated, highly integrated resources to support the Japanese communication layer).
  • Experience working closely with enterprise corporate clients—specifically within a Japanese corporate environment—is a significant advantage.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business problems into elegant ServiceNow architectural solutions.
