Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Engineering Design and implement automation solutions (Rundeck, Ansible, Terraform, custom scripts in Python/Bash/PowerShell) to reduce manual effort, eliminate repetitive tasks, and accelerate service delivery.
Service Reliability & Availability Engineer improvements that increase the resilience, recovery, and performance of infrastructure managed services.
Monitoring & Observability Enablement Build and optimize automated monitoring, alerting, and logging workflows (e.g., Splunk) to enhance proactive issue detection and recovery.
Workflow Orchestration Develop and manage end-to-end automation workflows that integrate APIs, microservices, and Accenture assets to standardize and scale operations.
Continuous Improvement Lead initiatives that drive efficiency, reliability, and velocity in service delivery through automation-first practices.
Collaboration & Client Value Work with global delivery teams and client stakeholders to embed automation into service delivery, demonstrating measurable improvements in reliability and efficiency
Must have:
Good Knowledge of Linux Systems
Proficiency in scripting and automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell
Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hands-on experience with Splunk for monitoring, logging, and analysis.
Solid understanding of automation frameworks: Ansible, Terraform, Rundeck.
Experience with Git and version control practices.
Strong automation mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
Nice to have
operations support experience in enterprise environments.
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
Exposure to enterprise-scale reliability engineering practices
Knowledge of API and microservices integration.
