Job Summary:

strong expertise across ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR), Common Configuration (CC), and CMDB as well as enterprise level vulnerability management:

Scope

• Support implementation and optimisation of the SNVR/CC platform to ensure readiness for increased data volumes and new connectors. Activities include:
• Platform performance and scalability uplift (including SNVR/CC plugin upgrade testing)
• Integration enhancement and validation for connectors (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Qualys, Wiz, Snyk)
• Implementation of automated platform health monitoring and alerting
• Development of automated test cases and supporting manual test plans
• Support the Platform team in actioning/testing outcomes of platform configuration review and rationalisation of legacy customisations, transitioning to out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities
• Resolution of ownership and assignment gaps impacting vulnerability remediation
• Close collaboration with the Platform team and ServiceNow vendor
• Incident and ServiceNow case follow-up and escalation
• Reporting on delivery progress, issues, and risk

Mandatory Skills (Both Resources)

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) and Common Configuration (CC)
• Proven experience in enterprise vulnerability management, including:
• End-to-end lifecycle (ingestion, triage, assignment, remediation, reporting)
• Optimisation of assignment logic and ownership mapping
• Experience integrating vulnerability/security tools (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Qualys, Wiz, Snyk) with ServiceNow VR/CC
• Experience working in high-volume environments (large-scale vulnerability ingestion and processing)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and reporting skills
• Experience operating within regulated environments, with alignment to risk metrics (preferred)
• Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response (CIS VR) (strongly preferred)
