The Service Engineering Manager - Korean Speaker role leads field service operations and supports the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment. The position combines technical expertise, people management, project execution, and customer support while coordinating with the company's headquarters in Japan.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the service engineering team
- Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support
- Handle customer issues and support high levels of customer satisfaction
- Plan and execute field service projects while maintaining quality standards
- Coordinate closely with customers and the company's headquarters in Japan
Requirements
- Fluency in Korean is required; native-level proficiency is preferred
- Business-level English proficiency
- Japanese and/or Vietnamese language skills will be an advantage
- At least 3 years of experience managing service engineers
- Strong people management skills, including scheduling, training, performance, cost, profit, and spare parts and logistics management
- At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance, electrical, or mechanical engineer
- Experience in the semiconductor, printed circuit board (PCB), or packaging substrate industry is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience maintaining large equipment
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for emergency support
