Scope: What this role entails
Mission
Shape raw material into compelling stories through thoughtful editing, meticulous craft, and creative collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Edit a wide range of work across short-form, long-form video, reels, branded content, and creative experiments
- Shape raw material into cohesive, compelling stories with clarity, rhythm, precision, and style
- Handle essential post-production craft, including sound mixing, colour correction, and motion graphics when needed
- Collaborate closely with producers, designers, writers, and creative teams across Hanoi and Toronto
- Help shape and grow Motion capability in Hanoi by setting strong craft standards, sharing knowledge, and supporting the development of other editors as the team grows
- Take responsibility for the quality, consistency, and polish of final deliverables.

- Full-time, in-office role from Monday to Friday in Thanh Xuan, Hanoi, with some hybrid flexibility
- Salary range 25-35M, based on proficiency, capability, and experience

Must-haves
- Minimum 3 years of editing experience
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere, G Suite, and Slack (our internal work platforms)
- Ability to perform simple sound mixes and basic colour correction for web
- Understanding of agency processes and team structures
- Some experience in B2B marketing and communications design
- Confidence taking ownership, guiding others, and contributing to the growth of a creative team
- Proficiency with common workplace and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Slack.
Great-to-haves
- Experience helping establish workflows, standards, or ways of working for a growing team
- Working knowledge of After Effects and DaVinci Resolve
- Experience within an agency, studio, production, or similarly fast-paced creative environment
- Experience collaborating with international teams.
