Our client is building an Azure-native platform that transforms business intent into governed, AI-ready data products. Our platform unifies governance, automation, and observability across three core experiences: the Control Plane, the Studio, and the Assurance Hub-all powered by agentic systems.
We're looking for a Senior UI/UX Engineer who can design and deliver AI-native user experiences that make human-agent collaboration seamless, intuitive, and trustworthy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead UX/UI Across Core Product Surfaces
- Control Plane: governance, workspaces, access & control
- Studio: conversational creation of data products
- Assurance Hub: agent-augmented incident response workflows
Design Advanced AI-Driven Interfaces
- Visualize agent reasoning, diff/merge proposals, confidence levels, and governance rules
- Create UIs that support multi-turn humanAI interaction with clarity and trust
- Design progressive disclosure patterns for complex enterprise workflows
- Build real-time collaborative experiences: incidents, timelines, approvals, reviews
- Convert concepts prototypes production-ready UI quickly (days, not weeks)
- Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, v0) to speed up design and UI implementation
- Own and evolve the design system (shadcn/ui, Radix, Tailwind)
- Implement key UI interactions: animations, error states, responsive layouts, accessibility
- Collaborate closely with engineering to refine designs directly in code
- Instrument UX telemetry (e.g., time-to-action, adoption, error recovery) and iterate weekly
- Contribute to product direction, IA, and overall UX strategy
Requirements:
Product Design & Interaction Design
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex, interactive product surfaces
- Experience designing enterprise SaaS or data-heavy applications
- Solid interaction design foundations: flows, microinteractions, states, progressive disclosure
- Comfortable designing conversational or agent-assisted workflows
- Experience visualizing reasoning, diffs, explanations, or complex system states
- Strong information architecture and UX writing ability
UI Engineering (Hands-on with Code)
- Able to modify and refine React components (this is not a pure designer role)
- Strong skills in Tailwind, CSS Grid/Flexbox, responsive design
- Familiar reading React/TypeScript to validate feasibility
- Experience with shadcn/ui, Radix, design tokens, component libraries
- Ability to refine AI-generated component code (Cursor, Claude, etc.)
Design Systems
- Experience building or scaling design systems
- Strong understanding of accessibility, tokens, component architecture
- Able to design patterns for lists, forms, timelines, diff views, editors, etc.
AI-Native Design Workflow
- Daily use of AI design tools (Claude, v0, Cursor, Galileo, Windsurf)
- Comfortable generating variations and components using AI
- Able to convert Figma AI-generated components refined production UI
- Familiar with UX patterns for uncertainty, reasoning, explanations in AI/agentic systems
