EPAM Vietnam is looking for a highly motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer to help build, maintain and enhance our SaaS eLearning platform powered by the Microsoft .NET framework. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the software design team to define quality assurance parameters and identify application weaknesses and target areas for testing
- Design and implement test automation frameworks and procedures, including writing automation scripts and evaluating tool effectiveness
- Execute manual and exploratory testing across functionalities, log defects and maintain up-to-date test cases and test data banks
- Conduct usability testing sessions, review bug reports and prepare detailed test documentation including defect logs and regression testing coverage
- Create automation scripts using Playwright, perform mobile manual testing and amend test cases and steps to reflect the current application version
- Prepare the necessary test data (if applicable) and maintain a test data bank to ensure sufficient data is available for multiple scenario-based testing
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, embrace continuous improvement and actively contribute to team discussions and decisions
- Client-facing role: participate in phone conferences, customer interviews, workshops and presentations, while continuously acquiring knowledge of relevant technologies and applications
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software testing and/or test automation experience, dealing with complex technical issues and tasks
- Advanced proficiency in test automation using .NET frameworks and related tools
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C#
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and test automation processes
- Skilled in manual, automated and API testing using Postman, Playwright and SpecFlow
- Capable of testing mobile applications and building and maintaining automation frameworks for both Android and iOS platforms
- Strong attention to detail with experience testing across modern browsers and mobile devices
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English (B2) with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
