Key responsibilities include:
- Keep personal tools in the toolbox and supervise routine tools, cleaning and returning all tools and equipment to their proper places after completing work.
- Maintain work records and create detailed work reports.
- Maintain the work area and ensure that all work areas are clean.
- Thoroughly clean the work area according to a schedule once a week.
- Follow up on work information with supervisors and staff.
- Establish wiring systems to ensure proper functioning of lighting, intercom systems, and other electrical systems.
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components.
- Prepare and assemble conduits and wiring.
- Install electrical equipment, fixtures, alarm systems, and other systems.
- Install safety and distribution components (switches, resistors, circuit breakers, etc.).
- Perform interior installation (curtains, pictures, wall lights, shelves, etc.).
- Prevent malfunctions, inspect and replace old insulated wiring and cables, clean electrical circuits, etc.
- Carefully inspect and record all abnormalities.
- Carefully inspect all amenities and equipment in the living room such as light bulbs, TV, air conditioner, etc., and record any abnormalities.
- Carefully inspect all kitchen appliances such as dishwashers, coolers, freezers, etc., and record any abnormalities.
- Carefully inspect all laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, irons, presses, etc., and record any abnormalities.
- Carefully inspect systems such as refrigerators, water heaters, fresh water systems, drain pumps, etc. and record all anomalies.
- Perform maintenance work in guest areas, public areas, and other resort facilities.
- Troubleshoot, identify malfunctions, repair, or replace damaged parts.
- Assist the engineering or landscaping departments with tasks around the resort as required.
- Coordinate with other departments to address guest requests in accordance with resort policy.
Responsible Business & Compliance
All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
The role requires:
- High school graduate and completion of academic programs. Valid professional license.
- Two or more years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to use power and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeters, etc.) as well as electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Thorough understanding of safety procedures, regulations, and legal guidelines.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Good health and flexibility to work night shifts or overtime.
- Mandatory knowledge of basic work procedures and operations of tasks.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Basic mechanical skills are required.
- Ability to perform calculations.
- Knowledge of reading blueprints and installing machinery, wiring, and equipment.
- Ability to work with various hazardous equipment safely and reliably when required.
- Working long hours outdoors in a posture that can cause body aches and pains is possible.
- The ability to work in an outdoor environment is required.
