About the Job
- Responsible from thermoelectric ingot production operations to lead and provide in depth technical support, resolving production problems as well as undertake process improvement activities for material quality, performance improvement and cost saving opportunites, responsible to lead ingot engineers, Technician for equipment and facility problem solving and preventive maintenance.
- Follows through the literature to stay active for research and new development aspect of thermoelectric materials and processes needed for utilization and development of new formulations or processes for additional improvements over time. Advances could be evolutionary over the current processes and materials to improve Coherent capabilities and products, benefiting current and evolving new market needs working with Coherent Thermal Solutions.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Physics, or Chemistry with emphasis on Functional Materials Development and Processing Research or Production
- 10+ years applicable experience in engineering/scientific role with internal and external report writing in English with Management experience.
- Typically requires 5+ years managerial/leadership experience
- Experience working with thermoelectric material production is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in problem solving and process improvement, using statistical analysis tools

- Ability to work with little supervision and to manage assigned tasks and projects effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex materials and thermoelectric-related problems and research solutions in the public domain as well as creating/ developing innovative solutions
- Ability to leverage knowledge and experience and apply it to solve problems resourcefully
- Effectively manages multiple priorities and projects
- Ability to teach and train others within work group and other groups
- Ability to work, teach and learn in cross-organizational teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, internet access and the ability to develop tools and/or special applications within these packages.
