Job Description
- Participate in the design, development, and optimization of Backend systems using Node.js (NestJS/ExpressJS) for Government Digital Transformation projects and large-scale national information systems.
- Provide technical leadership for project teams, define system architecture directions, and ensure technical quality throughout project implementation.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems that meet requirements for performance, scalability, and high availability.
- Analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions tailored to Government, public sector, and administrative service projects.
- Build, integrate, and connect with shared platforms, data-sharing platforms, business systems, and digital platforms used by government agencies.
- Optimize system performance, databases, and APIs for high-volume systems with large user bases, massive datasets, and strict operational stability requirements.
- Conduct code reviews, review technical design documents, and ensure compliance with software development standards and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout project delivery.
- Mentor, coach, and support the technical growth of team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges while ensuring project quality and delivery timelines.
What are we looking for
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in Backend development using Node.js.Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js frameworks such as NestJS or ExpressJS.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.
- Experience working on large-scale systems with high requirements for stability, security, and scalability.
- Solid understanding of application performance optimization, database optimization, and concurrency handling.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.Experience working with Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, propose technical solutions, and design system architectures.
- Prior experience in Government, Digital Transformation, Public Services, or large-scale enterprise IT projects is highly preferred.
- Experience working in On-Premises or Hybrid Infrastructure environments is an advantage.
- Experience with High-Traffic, High-Concurrency systems and Microservices Architecture.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
