(Senior) Tax Consultant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

TAX COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING

• Manage tax reporting and compliance in line with company policies and Vietnam tax regulations, including WHT, VAT, CIT, and invoicing requirements.

• Support transfer pricing compliance through data collection, preparation, and maintenance of documentation for intercompany transactions.

• Liaise with tax authorities on routine matters and support responses to ad hoc requests.

TAX ADVISORY AND BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

• Provide day-to-day tax support and practical guidance to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters.

• Review contracts and commercial arrangements from a tax perspective to support sound business decisions.

• Conduct tax research and support ad hoc projects and initiatives from Group and local management.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

• Use Excel and digital tools to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and streamline tax compliance processes.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support other tax and finance initiatives as needed.

CANDIDATE PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multinational environment and/or with Big 4 exposure.

• Good working knowledge of Vietnam tax regulations and accounting standards.

• A collaborative team player who communicates well and works effectively with colleagues across functions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Experience with data tools or automation (such as Power Query, Power BI, or similar) and openness to using AI in daily work would be an advantage.

• Fluent Vietnamese and confidence in communicating in English.

• A positive, proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and a genuine interest in continuous learning and improvement.
