Job Description

LOCATION OF POSITION: Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

REPORTING TO: Responsible Sourcing Manager

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

This role exists to perform compliance audits and training at Kontoor's suppliers to ensure adherence to Kontoor's Terms of Engagement and Social and Environmental Goals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Include but not limited to

  • Contact factories and schedule audits efficiently in accordance with guidelines.
  • Accept and execute audit assignments on time, accurately, and with integrity.
  • Review third-party audit reports to determine factory compliance ratings and scores.
  • Complete Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and update the Fair Factories Clearinghouse (FFC) database as required.
  • Contribute to the development and periodic updates of factory compliance audit documents.
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, including worker well-being, energy and water conservation, wastewater discharge, and critical life safety.
  • Develop and deliver training to vendors to promote best practices and continuous improvement in social compliance and CSR.
  • Support factories in improving sustainability and social compliance performance through both on-site and off-site approaches.
  • Identify and report potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
  • Investigate and resolve alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and oversee corrective action plans to ensure issue resolution and prevention.
  • Lead CSR and sustainability projects for Kontoor in Vietnam and Cambodia, and build capacity to support effective project execution.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Include but not limited to

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in factory compliance and sustainability.
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws and social compliance requirements in Vietnam and Cambodia
  • Experience in audit execution, CAP management, and compliance & CSR program support
  • Good facilitation and training delivery skills
  • Good project coordination and execution capability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across stakeholders
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Fluent written English with working-level spoken communication, fluent in oral Khmer language is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is an advantage
  • Certifications such as SA8000, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 are a plus
  • Higg FEM verifier qualification is an advantage
  • Background in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Health & Safety is preferred

SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS ( if any)

Include but not limited to

  • This role requires travel for 2–3 weeks per month, with non-travel periods based remotely.
