Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
This position is to coordinate locally all tasks between cross functions such as planning, purchasing, engineering and manufacturing team, to ensure being able to manufacture & assembly all products in the designated production area of Ceramics plant in line with all quality requirements and the customer's demand. Specifically,
- Acts as an assembly production engineer, be responsible for manpower and work order planning surrounding Ceramics assembly facilities.
- Monitors WO order variant and updates routing (std cost) for accounting to roll up Std cost accuracy. Monitors monthly expense cost from cost center report. Works with supply chain stakeholders (production planner, purchasers, etc) to arrange assembly production to optimize labour resource and staff overtime.
- Supervises all assembly technicians (15+), Oversees routine situations, emergency prepared
- Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls by participating in Lean, Six-sigma, Kaizen, FMEA, 5S, and yield enhancement activities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science, Mechanical Engineering & Technology, Manufacturing Engineering specialisation is preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience in the precision manufacturing and assembly processing companies.
- 1+ years of supervising production team members is preferred.
- Assembly of precision machining units with clean room are strongly preferred.
- Experienced working in SAP ME/ERP or equivalent software is a plus.
Skills
- High proficiency in reading 2D drawings and understanding GD&T deeply.
- Have ability to achieve results independently or working with others.
- Problem solving skills.
- Good command of interpersonal and communication skills Both in English and Vietnamese.
- Ability to handle special assignments promptly and professionally.
- Sets a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency
