We're looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Strategic Planner to lead the planning phase of integrated communication projects and drive impactful 360 communication strategies.
This role requires strong strategic thinking, creative validation capability, and leadership potential to build and coach the planning. You will play a critical role in shaping communication direction, inspiring creative output, and ensuring business-driven campaign effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
- Lead the planning phase of projects: identify core challenges within client briefs; conduct research on market landscape, consumer insights, and media behaviors to develop strong communication and 360 channel strategies.
- Work closely with Account, Content, and Creative/Design teams to build compelling and feasible proposals.
- Present and defend strategic recommendations to clients with confidence and clarity.
- Provide creative validation to ensure concepts, content direction, and visual development align with the approved strategy.
- Support project teams during execution, monitor performance, and recommend optimization when necessary.
- Manage and mentor planning team members (including Social Planner and future Digital Media Planner roles); foster knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a strategic partner throughout the project lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in communications planning, strategic planning, or integrated marketing within an agency environment.
- Strong experience in developing 360 integrated communication strategies.
- Proven ability to translate consumer insights into actionable strategic frameworks and creative briefs.
- Strong presentation and persuasion skills with experience pitching to clients.
- Solid understanding of multi-channel ecosystems (digital, social, PR, media, activation).
- Excellent analytical, research, and storytelling capabilities.
- Leadership mindset with experience mentoring or guiding junior planners.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and strong proficiency in English.
