Role Description

NCB is hiring a Senior Specialist / Manager – Card Portfolio & Policy Management to support portfolio strategy, onboarding governance, customer acquisition optimization, and portfolio performance monitoring for the Credit Card business.

This role sits within the Card Product Team and works closely with Risk, Data Analytics, Operations, Digital Banking, Technology, and Business teams to balance portfolio growth, customer experience, and portfolio quality.

The position will play an important role in enhancing onboarding frameworks, customer segmentation strategies, portfolio monitoring capabilities, and digital card acquisition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Policy Management

  • Support and enhance customer onboarding frameworks and product governance initiatives
  • Manage and optimize customer acquisition and onboarding strategies
  • Support enhancement of pre-approved and customer segmentation programs
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on portfolio-related policy and process improvements
  • Ensure alignment between business growth objectives and portfolio quality management

Portfolio Monitoring & Analytics

  • Monitor portfolio performance indicators including:
  • Approval and decline trends
  • Activation and utilization metrics
  • Customer engagement indicators
  • Early delinquency and portfolio quality trends
  • Spend behavior and customer lifecycle performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve acquisition quality and portfolio performance
  • Prepare portfolio monitoring reports and management updates

Customer Segmentation & Acquisition Optimization

  • Work closely with Data Analytics teams on:
  • Customer segmentation
  • Portfolio analytics
  • Customer behavior analysis
  • Eligibility and acquisition optimization
  • Support initiatives to improve customer onboarding experience and approval funnel efficiency

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with:
  • Risk Management
  • Operations
  • Technology teams
  • Data Analytics
  • Digital Banking
  • Business Banking teams
  • Participate in system enhancement and digital onboarding initiatives related to the Cards business

Customer Experience & Innovation

  • Support digital-first customer onboarding and servicing journeys
  • Drive initiatives to improve customer experience and portfolio engagement
  • Support innovation initiatives related to card acquisition and customer lifecycle management

Qualifications

Strong experience in:

  • Credit Risk
  • Retail Risk
  • Card Portfolio Management
  • Credit Policy
  • Banking Analytics
  • Retail Lending or Credit Cards business

Good understanding of:

  • Customer onboarding frameworks
  • Portfolio monitoring
  • Customer segmentation
  • Credit assessment concepts
  • Portfolio risk indicators

Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills

Experience working within banking or financial services industry preferred

Experience in Credit Cards or Retail Banking preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field

Candidate Requirements

  • Vietnamese nationals or candidates with valid Vietnam work authorization
  • Experience in Vietnam banking or payments market preferred
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to work across multiple stakeholders
  • Passion for building innovative financial products and improving customer experience
