Senior Software Engineer (Java)

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to contribute to enterprise-grade backend systems.

• Working time: Full-time GMT+7 (Mon - Fri)
• Interview process: 2 Rounds online
• Domain: Banking/Insurance

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java (Spring Boot).
• Participate in system architecture design, technical solution proposal, and optimization.
• Develop and optimize APIs, services, and backend logic to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Work with SQL databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Redis).
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment.
• Collaborate with multiple teams (Frontend, QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver features on time.
• Review code, ensure coding standards, best practices, and system quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues when needed.
• Support and mentor junior/middle developers when required.

REQUIREMENT

• Mid/Senior level with 5+ YOE.
• Strong experience with Java, especially Spring Boot.
• Solid knowledge of: at least 1 SQL database, at least 1 NoSQL database
• Hands-on experience with Cloud computing: AWS/GCP/Azure
• Experience working with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
• Proficient in Git (branching, merge, pull request, code review).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts is a plus.
