KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Full-Stack Development (Backend Focus)
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across frontend and backend.
- Implement clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Product Discovery & Business Analysis
- Participate in product discovery sessions to understand user problems and business goals.
- Analyze requirements, clarify ambiguities, and propose feasible technical approaches.
- Contribute ideas to improve product usability, performance, and value.
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design system components, microservices-based architectures, and APIs with scalability and reliability in mind.
- Evaluate and communicate architecture trade-offs (performance vs. cost, speed vs. robustness, etc.).
- Produce lightweight design documents or diagrams when needed.
Testing & Quality
- Ensure high code quality through code reviews and adherence to standards.
- Actively prevent regressions and production issues.
Basic DevOps & Delivery
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy applications on Kubernetes (on-premise clusters).
- Configure and work with API Gateway (Kong or similar).
- Monitor systems using Splunk, Loki, and other monitoring/alerting tools - Grafana.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong backend experience with Java.
- Proficiency in at least one frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Good understanding of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL,, etc.).
- Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of message queues/event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Experience writing automated tests.
