Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an SEO Specialist based in Hanoi. The SEO Specialist will manage and execute key SEO strategies, including conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, implementing on-page SEO techniques, and overseeing link-building campaigns. Additionally, the SEO Specialist will analyze web traffic and performance data to optimize online visibility and improve search rankings.
Responsibilities
- Do keyword research in coordination with business objectives;
- Develop and implement strategies for increasing website traffic through organic search;
- Develop and maintain on-page + off-page optimization tasks;
- Keep track of keyword rankings, analytics, and website performance on a daily basis;
- Research and identify URL architecture, page errors, content and navigational issues, and other factors that impact the technical performance of a website;
- Work heavily with SEO tools, especially Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, Webmaster Tools, Screaming Frog, SEM Rush, etc;
- Create weekly/monthly performance reports using Google Analytics and Google Data Studio;
- Work on WordPress site using programming languages (HTML and CSS);
- Identify SEO problems or inhibiting factors, diagnose the root cause, and devise effective intervention;
- Monitor the algorithms set by the search engines to keep up to date with changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field;
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Senior SEO role, preferably with high-traffic or large-scale eCommerce websites;
- Strong understanding of international SEO markets (US, UK, EU, AU), including local search intent and global eCommerce trends;
- Proficiency in industry-standard SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4;
- Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify technical SEO issues and implement effective solutions;
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to monitor performance metrics and optimize SEO strategies accordingly;
- High sense of ownership and accountability in achieving organic traffic and keyword ranking goals.
