Lead cutting-edge physical security at LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam, protecting people, iconic assets, and the magic of play in our strategic factory in Binh Duong.
This is a specialist-level senior role with full accountability for Vietnam site security but no direct people leadership responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities
1. Physical Security & Site Operations
- Lead and direct all physical security operations at LMV Binh Duong, ensuring full alignment with LEGO Global Security policies, standards and site-specific risk assessments
- Oversee local security services in close collaboration with security coordinators and the manned guarding service provider, ensuring consistent service quality, regulatory compliance and performance
- Design, implement and continuously enhance physical security solutions that are appropriate, scalable and cost-effective
- Define, monitor and report key security KPIs and service levels, driving accountability and continuous improvement
- Analyze internal and external security trends, risks and incidents, and proactively adjust policies and controls accordingly
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all site security matters
2. Supply Chain Security, Theft/Loss Prevention & Compliance
- Lead loss prevention, theft prevention and related investigations, ensuring timely resolution and effective root-cause mitigation
- Drive site-level Supply Chain Security certifications and ISO programs, maintaining ongoing compliance and audit readiness
- Take a leading role during major incidents and crises, ensuring effective coordination, communication and business recovery
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, EHS and Operations teams to embed robust security controls across inbound, production and outbound flows
- Provide security expertise and ensure alignment with fire, safety and other statutory regulations in close collaboration with EHS
3. Crisis Management & Emergency Preparedness
- Lead the site security function within the Emergency Management Team
- Collaborate with the Regional Security Director to establish, maintain and regularly test contingency and business continuity plans
- Serve as deputy security lead within the Site Emergency Management Team (SEMT)
- Coordinate with Regional Security Director, Global Command Center and Local Command Center to deliver SEMT trainings and exercises in line with global requirements
- Manage complex security incidents and crisis situations, ensuring timely decision-making, effective coordination and swift recovery
4. Security Leadership & Strategy
- Provide daily leadership to security coordinators while overseeing major aspects of the site security function
- Manage operations of the local command center, ensuring 24/7 readiness and professional execution
- Foster effective collaboration and timely information sharing with regional and global command centers and security counterparts
- Support the Regional Security Director in translating global and regional security strategies into practical, scalable and cost-effective site-level execution, roadmaps and initiatives
- Provide strategic input to the Regional Security Director and site leadership to enable safe, secure and resilient operations while balancing security requirements with business priorities
- Collaborate closely with senior site, regional and global leadership to align security practices with overall business objectives
- Lead or significantly contribute to major security projects and initiatives from planning through to successful execution
- Act as a recognized subject-matter expert and coach for the site security team and cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive a strong security culture through awareness programs, training and active leadership engagement
- Support the Regional Security Director in budget planning and the digitalization of security operations to enhance productivity

The Global Security Organization protects people, assets and business continuity across The LEGO Group. We prevent critical security incidents, respond efficiently when they occur, and safeguard intellectual property and critical assets from physical theft and leakage while also supporting travel security and major events.
As Senior Security Manager at LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam, you will have full accountability for leading the complete spectrum of site security with a high degree of autonomy. Recognized as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to both the Regional Security Director and site leadership, this role offers excellent opportunities to deepen your knowledge of The LEGO Group, collaborate with a global multidisciplinary security community, and provide critical security expertise to the LMV Operations team succeeding together as one LEGO team.
Do you have what it takes
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant academic background (e.g. risk management, corporate security, law, manufacturing, engineering or IT), ideally supplemented by relevant experience in security, policing, military or emergency services)
- Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP and/or solid ISO knowledge are considered strong advantages (not mandatory)
Must-have Qualifications & Skills
- 510 years of progressive experience in corporate, industrial or manufacturing security.
- In-depth knowledge of local Vietnamese regulations related to Supply Chain Security and Customs requirements
- Proven track record of leading site-level security operations and programs in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong exposure to physical security, electronic security systems, supply chain security, crisis management and investigations
- Experience operating within global standards while successfully adapting to local regulatory environments
- Strong stakeholder management, teamwork and cross-functional collaboration mindset
- Strategic thinking combined with excellent operational execution
- Solid analytical skills and risk-based decision-making ability
- High level of integrity, discretion and personal resilience
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and coaching capabilities
- Comfortable working in multicultural and global environments
Nice-to-have Qualifications
- Experience managing outsourcing contracts (contract management)
- Previous involvement in budget planning
- IT and/or project management experience
- Established relationships and collaboration experience with local security authorities
- Proven advanced investigation skills
- Experience participating in construction projects (considered an advantage)
