Senior Salesforce Developer

Responsibilities

• Contribute in a dynamic, collaborative, and non-hierarchical environment where technical expertise and impact are highly valued.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-quality eCommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and global clients to deliver robust technical solutions aligned with business and customer experience requirements.
• Develop and customize SFCC storefront features, cartridges, APIs, and integrations using SFRA architecture and JavaScript-based backend development.
• Participate in backend development and integration activities using .NET technologies to support enterprise systems and connected services.
• Integrate SFCC with external platforms such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, OMS, and third-party services via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, security, and user experience across eCommerce platforms.
• Drive software quality through coding best practices, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze complex business and technical challenges, propose effective solutions, and actively contribute to implementation.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively contributing to sprint planning, estimation, development, and delivery.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and SFCC best practices to enhance product innovation and team capability.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development, including strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Demandware) development.
• Good experience working with .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework), especially for backend services, APIs, and enterprise system integrations.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce architecture, checkout flows, catalog management, promotions, customer journeys, and payment integrations.
• Experience integrating SFCC with external systems such as ERP, CRM, OMS, CMS, and payment providers.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles: SOLID, DRY, Separation of Concerns, Dependency Injection.
• Familiarity with Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and scalable enterprise application design.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Git and standard branching strategies (e.g., Git Flow).
• Experience working with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
