Your day at NTT DATA

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager / Senior Sales Leader, you will be responsible for developing and expanding long-term relationships with strategic enterprise accounts, primarily within Manufacturing, Retail, and BFSI industries.

This role requires strong executive-level engagement, deep understanding of business and technology solutions, and the ability to translate customer challenges into compelling digital and ERP-driven value propositions. You will work closely with internal pre-sales, delivery, regional, and global teams to drive revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account & Revenue Growth

  • Own and grow assigned strategic accounts, meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets
  • Build and execute account strategies to expand wallet share across NTT DATA's solution portfolio
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline using structured sales methodologies and CRM tools (Salesforce)
  • Minimize client churn while maximizing customer retention and long-term value

Executive Engagement & Value Selling

  • Engage with CxO and senior decision-makers at customer organizations
  • Understand customers business objectives and challenges, converting them into actionable digital, IT, and ERP solutions
  • Present clear and compelling value propositions and business cases, including joint proposals with technology partners

Solution & Partner Collaboration

  • Work closely with Pre-Sales, Delivery, Regional, and Global teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment
  • Collaborate with technology partners (e.g., ERP vendors such as SAP, D365, Odoo, FAST, Bravo, etc.) to build joint opportunities
  • Foster a strong internal one-team culture to deliver consistent and high-quality customer outcomes

Market & Industry Leadership

  • Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape
  • Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities and risks
  • Represent NTT DATA at industry events, conferences, CxO roundtables, and customer seminars

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and guide sales activities, including hunting new clients when required
  • Coach and support sales team members to achieve KPIs and short- to mid-term goals
  • Influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive alignment around shared objectives

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong sales and business acumen with proven success in enterprise IT or consulting sales
  • 10+ years in the same position and extensive experience managing strategic accounts and complex B2B sales cycles
  • Background in Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail, or CPG industries
  • Experience engaging with customers Line of Business or IT organizations at a senior level
  • Solid knowledge and sales experience in ERP solutions (SAP, D365, Odoo, FAST, Bravo, or similar)
  • Proven experience leading sales teams and driving KPI achievement
  • Strong ability to work independently while collaborating across global, cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Technology, or a related field

Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid working mode.
