Role Description This full-time Senior Sales Engineer role is hybrid, based in Hanoi with flexibility for partial work from home. The Senior Sales Engineer will lead technical sales engagements, including understanding customer requirements, mapping solutions to those needs, and delivering tailored product demonstrations and presentations. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with sales teams on proposals, providing technical support during the sales cycle, and serving as a trusted advisor to customers before and after implementation. The role involves preparing solution designs, responding to technical questions, coordinating with engineering or product teams on complex issues, and ensuring a smooth handover from pre-sales to post-sales support.

Targeted segments: General HVAC comfort-projects, Pharma, Semi-conductor, Power plant, Data center...

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering experience, including solution design, technical presentations, and pre-sales support.
  • Hands-on Technical Support skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with product or engineering teams.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear technical and business-level explanations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven Sales capabilities, such as opportunity qualification, proposal support, and closing collaboration.
  • Customer Service mindset, with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience in a similar senior pre-sales or customer-facing technical role, preferably in B2B or technology-driven environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage priorities independently, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with common business and collaboration tools; familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies and markets.
