Role Description
This is an on-site role based in Hanoi, Vietnam, for a Senior Sales Account Manager responsible for driving business growth within the Vietnam market.
The role focuses on managing strategic banking clients, developing new business opportunities, and leading complex, consultative sales cycles for banking technology solutions. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams (Presales, Delivery, Product) to position tailored solutions and ensure successful deal closure and long-term client success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage key client accounts within the banking and financial services sector in Vietnam.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation and opportunity qualification to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding Sunline's footprint in the Vietnam market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g., CIO, CTO, Head of Business, Transformation Leads).
- Lead and coordinate RFP/RFI/bidding processes, including commercial and solution positioning.
- Collaborate with Presales and Solution teams to design and present tailored banking solutions (e.g., core banking, digital banking, lending, trade finance).
- Conduct client presentations, workshops, and solution pitching, articulating value propositions effectively.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to refine sales strategies and positioning.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Track pipeline, forecast sales performance, and achieve assigned revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 58 years of experience in enterprise sales or account management, preferably in banking, fintech, or technology solutions.
- Proven track record in selling complex solutions and managing long sales cycles, ideally within the banking sector.
- Experience in RFP/bidding processes for banking or large-scale IT projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking systems and digital transformation trends is an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate client needs into business opportunities.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Vietnam and regionally as required.
