Senior SafePay Backend Developer

Notice: Only candidates currently based in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) will be accepted. This is a full-time remote role for a Senior SafePay Backend Developer (5+ YOEs) at one of our partner companies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop international payment and remittance infrastructure

- Implement escrow payment systems with milestone-based settlements

- Build KYC/AML systems

- Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, Toss Payments, Airwallex, etc.)

- Handle compliance requirements for international remittance services

- Manage payment security and fraud/anomaly detection systems

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of senior backend development experience

- Hands-on experience with Node.js / NestJS or equivalent backend frameworks

- Experience in PostgreSQL-based data modeling

- Experience operating AWS-based infrastructure

- Mandatory experience in fintech/payment system development

- Ability to read and write technical documentation in English

- Capable of asynchronous collaboration and self-managed work

- Currently residing in Ho Chi Minh City or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience integrating Stripe, Toss Payments, Airwallex, etc.

- Experience with security certifications (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, etc.)

- Experience building AML/KYC systems

- Experience with international remittance systems

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary up to 40M
