Role Description
We are seeking Senior Robotics Control Engineers to lead the development of high-performance controllers for humanoid robots, encompassing whole-body control, balance and locomotion stabilization, compliant manipulation, and other real-time control tasks. You will collaborate with experts across control, dynamics, planning, and perception to architect and implement advanced control frameworks that enable dynamic, robust, and adaptive humanoid motion. Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. inRobotics, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of robot dynamics, nonlinear control, optimization-based control, and real-time systems.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python, with extensive experience in ROS/ROS2 and real-time control frameworks.
- Proven experience with MuJoCo, Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or equivalent physics simulators for testing and validation.
- Strong knowledge in state estimation, sensor fusion, and system identification.
- Demonstrated experience deploying controllers on physical robotic platforms involving torque-controlled actuators, IMUs, and force/torque sensors.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic technical decisions and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experiencedeveloping and deploying control systems for legged or humanoid robots.
- Research or development background in Model Predictive Control (MPC), optimal control, adaptive control, or learning-based control.
- Strong publication or project record demonstrating advanced work in robot control, dynamics, or state estimation.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and DDS-based communication frameworks.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or small control teams in robotics projects.
