Security Pentester to work in Hanoi, Noventiq Vietnam.
About The Role
As a Senior Red Team, you will have hands-on experience with native and managed code penetration testing (code audit, writing fuzzers, finding creative ways to break assumptions) and applying those skills to an online services portfolio, a clear understanding of security fundamentals, solid computer science skills, and a passion for keeping Microsoft customers safe.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Conduct security assessments of large, complex, or multi-platform applications.
- Develop security guidelines by analyzing platforms, technologies, and vendor documentation.
- Provide cybersecurity training (awareness, secure programming, configuration) to customers.
- Handle cybersecurity incidents and support response activities.
- Analyze 1-day vulnerabilities and write exploitation payloads.
- Research 0-day vulnerabilities, new exploitation techniques, and emerging technologies; present findings via seminars, blogs, and community activities.
- Participate in drills (internal/external) and Group CTF competitions.
Profile Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics-Informatics, or related fields.
- English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 650+.
Requirements & Competencies
- Cybersecurity experience: 3–5 years.
- Proven contributions to global security tools, techniques, vulnerabilities, books, or research.
- Knowledge of secure web application programming.
- Deep understanding of application vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
- Expertise in Crawlers and Fuzzing to discover 0-day vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with bypass techniques and anti-bypass methods.
- Ability to exploit large systems and perform lateral movement across multiple environments.
- Recognized professional achievements at a world-class level.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, protocols, networking, and encryption algorithms.
