About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QC Engineer to take full ownership of testing activities for our Web and Mobile platforms. This role focuses on test planning, execution, and defect tracking to ensure every release meets our quality standards. You will also guide junior testers and help improve testing accuracy and speed through clear documentation and coordination.

**Key Responsibilities

1. Testing Execution

Write and run detailed test cases for new features, updates, and bug fixes.

Execute different testing types: Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT.

Review requirement documents and user stories to confirm expected behavior and test coverage.

Record test results and log all defects in Jira with clear steps, screenshots, and evidence.

Recheck fixed defects and confirm their status before deployment.

2. Test Planning & Reporting

Prepare and update test data, environments, and configurations before each test runs.

Track daily test execution and update progress in QA tracking tools.

Summarize test results after each sprint and highlight failed or blocked cases to the Team Lead.

Keep all test documents organized for easy handover and audit.

3. Mentorship & Collaboration

Review junior testers test cases and give direct feedback on accuracy and coverage.

Pair with Developers and Product Owners to reproduce defects and verify fixes.

Join sprint review meetings to test completed features and confirm readiness for release.

**Key Requirements

Experience & Technical Knowledge

45 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in Web and Mobile application testing (iOS, Android).

Strong skills in test case design techniques (e.g., Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning).

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Experience testing APIs (REST, SOAP) with tools like Postman or Swagger.

Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.

Automation Knowledge

Strong in automation concepts and able to execute or review basic automated test scripts when required.

Hands-on experience or familiarity with at least one test automation framework or language (e.g., Java, JavaScript).

Soft Skills & Mindset

Detail-oriented and consistent in documenting results.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills with cross-functional teams (Developers, BAs, PMs).

Able to manage priorities under tight timelines and ensure timely delivery.

Proactive attitude toward improving accuracy and reducing repetitive defects.
