We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Manual) to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our digital trading platforms and internal systems.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams to validate system functionality, ensure compliance with business requirements, and maintain high standards for financial trading applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manual testing for complex systems, APIs, or financial platforms and is comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements, system designs, and acceptance criteria.
- Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure sufficient test coverage.
- Execute various testing activities including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and system testing.
- Validate end-to-end business workflows, ensuring system behavior aligns with business requirements.
- Participate in requirement discussions and design reviews to identify potential risks and ensure product quality from early stages.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with developers to investigate issues and verify bug fixes.
- Prepare and deliver test reports and testing status updates to project stakeholders.
- Support UAT activities and release verification, ensuring system readiness before production deployment.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and quality practices within the team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or manual testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA processes.
- Experience performing functional, integration, and regression testing for web or mobile applications.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail or equivalent).
- Experience collaborating with QA Automation engineers to support test automation initiatives and optimize the overall testing process.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Well-organized with strong time management and ownership mindset.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in securities, financial services, fintech, or related domains.
- Experience testing trading platforms, financial systems, or high-availability systems.
- Knowledge of API testing, database validation, or system integration testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
