Responsibility:
• Focus on the enhancement, optimization, and automation of measurement and testing equipment
• Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation
systems to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and operational safety.
• Play a key part in improving accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of measurement
systems within manufacturing and quality operations.
Job Description:
• Design and develop automation systems including PLC, HMI, SCADA, and robotics integration
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs.
• Develop machine control logic, motion control systems, and industrial communication networks
• Analyse existing measurement equipment & testing processes and implement automation improvements
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
• Optimize equipment cycle time and reliability
• Install, test, and commission automation equipment and systems
• Provide technical support for production lines and respond to system failures
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Manage automation projects including timeline, cost, and resource planning
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment procurement and integration
• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, engineering and NPI teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (schematics, SOPs, work instructions)
• Support audits and validation processes
• Others tasks assigned from Manager.
• Consult lower levels of employees with more complex issue.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in automation, electronic, mechatronic engineering or related field. Master's degree will be a plus
At least 5 years with a Bachelor's degree/3 years with a Master's degree in similar role at international manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of measurement systems,sensors, and data acquisition
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming(Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) or automationsoftware tools• Familiarity with programming/scriptinglanguages such as Python, LabVIEW, C/C++,or similar• Exposure to Industry 4.0, IoT, or smart factoryconcepts
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt orabove) is a plus
• Knowledge of robotics is a plus
• Experience with industrial communicationprotocols and control systems integration

• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, motioncontrol systems, and machine vision
• Understanding of MSA (Measurement SystemAnalysis), calibration, and quality standards ispreferred
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with limitedsupervision and in cross-functional teams
• Good communication skills in English.
