I. Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Automation Tester hired by our global customer based in Ho Chi Minh City. The Senior Automation Tester will be responsible for quality assurance, manual testing, creating test cases, API testing, and automating testing processes.
We're seeking experienced and talented automation testing engineers to work on our flagship platform that serves millions of customers daily. You will join our Agile Engineering team and manage the automation testing for the team while coaching them to have a quality mindset. You will be part of our committed Quality community, passionate about delivering a high-quality experience for our customers. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate expertise in test automation and have a solid understanding of the testing methodology.
II. Job responsibilities:
- Implement shift-left testing, automation first to test early and often.
- Code automated tests during build and regression test phases and integrate into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Create test plans, execute test cases, and prepare test summary reports for features built-in your team.
- Review solution documentation, and assist with the analysis, testing, and resolution of issues.
- Support defining the user story acceptance criteria and ensuring stories meet the high level of quality.
- Influence your team to think of Quality first, conduct training to empower developers to a level of sufficient testing skills.
III. Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years in a software testing (both manual and automation testing)role with at least 3 years of automation experience in Web and API testing.
- Strong English communication skills, especially in the global software development environment.
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies covering test levels, static and dynamic testing.
- Manage/ deliver test execution for the new features in different testing life cycles.
- Strong at using testing frameworks and tools, at least one or more from this list: Selenium WebDriver automation framework (Java), Cypress (JavaScript/ Typescript), and an Automation framework.
- Experienced in building automation testing frameworks and implementing/maintaining automation test scripts.
- Prefer to have JavaScript coding skills, but open to the Java/Python programming languages.
- Prefer to have experience setting up & integrating CI/CD.
- About Manual: I prefer experience with chatbot projects and know how the chatbot works.
