Senior QC Engineer

Job Decriptions

• Ensure quality ownership throughout all development stages to support the Scrum Team in achieving the Sprint Goal.
• Review requirements and provide early feedback to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
• Design comprehensive test strategies, including manual, API, automation, and performance coverage.
• Perform risk-based testing to prioritize critical functionalities.
• Execute both manual and automated tests for web and API layers.
• Mentor and support Quality Engineers in testing techniques and quality practices.
• Identify quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis of production issues and recommend preventive actions.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide detailed test reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and shift-left testing approach.
• Solid experience with manual testing, API testing (Postman, Swagger), and test documentation.
• Experience with database queries (MongoDB, MySQL).
• Hands-on experience in automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, or Appium).
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Good knowledge of performance testing (K6, JMeter) and test metrics (defect density, coverage, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive, ownership mindset, and capable of working independently or mentoring others.
