We are looking for Senior QC Engineer to help Fundiin realize our impactful vision.
Job Summary
As a Senior QC Engineer, you will own the quality of Fundiin's consumer financial platform end-to-end. You will design and execute test strategies across complex financial flows and continuously raise the quality bar. You will be expected to think in systems, challenge assumptions, and drive continuous improvement — quality is everyone's responsibility, and you will be at the center of it.
Fundiin runs an AI-native development process — you will work with AI tools embedded across the SDLC.
Accountabilities- Test Strategy & Coverage
- Design and execute end-to-end test strategies for complex financial product flows — personal loans, BNPL, credit card, payment integrations
- Define test coverage across functional, regression, API, integration, and performance dimensions
- Collaborate with ITBA and developers to review requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure testability from the start
- Perform regression testing to ensure software changes do not introduce new defects
- Own the defect lifecycle — from root cause analysis to resolution tracking and trend reporting
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies and release decisions with data-backed quality assessments
- Automation Testing
- Fundiin has existing automation frameworks in place (Selenium, Playwright) — you will be expected to learn, maintain, and expand them.
- Maintain and expand the existing automation framework
- Write, review, and improve automation test scripts for critical financial flows
- Integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality coverage
- Mobile & Security Testing
- Test Fundiin's mobile app (iOS and Android) across devices and OS versions
- Validate security and compliance-related flows — data privacy, authentication, PCI-DSS relevant scenarios
- Collaboration & Documentation
- Partner with developers to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve defects
- Support UAT with business stakeholders when needed
- Maintain clear and concise test documentation for future reference
What You Need
Must Have
- 3+ years of experience in software QC/QA
- Deep expertise in manual testing — functional, regression, exploratory, and edge case analysis
- Strong API testing skills — REST APIs, Postman, understanding of request/response flows and error handling
- Experience with database testing (SQL) — ability to trace data across systems and validate end-to-end flows
- Experience with mobile app testing (iOS and Android)
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and ability to integrate quality activities throughout the development process
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira or equivalent)
- Strong analytical thinking — ability to identify root causes, not just surface symptoms
Strong Plus
- Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services — understanding of lending flows, payment processing, or credit products
- Experience with event-driven systems — Kafka, webhooks, async processing — and ability to trace issues across distributed services
- Experience with test automation frameworks — Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent
- Experience using AI tools in your daily workflow
- Familiarity with security testing concepts — authentication flows, data privacy validation
- Familiarity with performance and load testing
