Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Owner located in Hanoi or HCMC. This role is expected to focus heavily on technical/product execution, working closely with engineering teams to manage backlog, define product requirements and ensure smooth delivery. Business domain support will be available, so deep business ownership is not the main requirement.
Qualifications
- Own and manage product backlog, roadmap alignment and delivery priorities.
- Work closely with engineering team to clarify technical requirements, system behavior and product logic.
- Translate product direction into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and release scope.
- Coordinate with BA/business stakeholders to understand key workflows and convert them into executable product requirements.
- Participate in solution discussion with technical team, especially around SaaS architecture, integration, scalability and system impact.
- Prioritize features, technical enhancements, bugs and dependencies based on business value and delivery capacity.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review and release planning.
- Track product delivery progress, remove blockers and ensure output quality before release.
- Work with PM and stakeholders to manage timeline, scope change and product risks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as Product Owner, Product Manager or Senior BA/Product BA in software product/SaaS environments.
- Strong experience working with technical teams; able to discuss APIs, system flows, integrations, data logic and technical constraints.
- Experience in SaaS product development is required.
- Strong backlog management, requirement clarification and delivery ownership.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery model.
- Ability to work with engineers, architects, QA and stakeholders in a structured and practical way.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization and decision-making skills.
- Finance-related domain experience is a plus, but not mandatory if technical/product capability is strong.
Nice to Have
- Experience with fintech, accounting software, ERP, payment, billing, e-commerce or B2B SaaS platforms.
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Figma, API documentation or product analytics tools.
- Experience working with global or cross-functional teams.
Mid-level PO
- Experience: 4–6 years
- Strong backlog management and Agile delivery Good technical understanding (API, integration, system flow) Experience in SaaS product environment
Senior PO
- Experience: 6+ years
- Strong technical/product ownership mindset
- Able to work closely with engineering team and drive product delivery
- Experience in scaling SaaS products or finance-related platforms is preferred.
