About the Role:

  • Work in a cross-functional role driving both near-term and long-term objectives across Sales,Operations, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
  • Play a key role at the forefront of category growth, developing and executing processes in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Take on a high-visibility role driving key business decisions to achieve short- and long-term objectives.

LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:

  • Create logical project plans, monitor progress, and update plans accordingly.
  • Lead legacy projects from tooling kick-off to mass production (MP).
  • Drive NPD projects from prototype phase to MP start.
  • Ensure OEM partners achieve key milestones (tooling, FOT, EB, MB, and MP) on time, within quality standards, and within budget.
  • Follow up on design reviews, DFMEAs, KPIs, product specifications, tooling DFM, EB builds, JIRA issues and action plans, DQTP testing, and product compliance.
  • Manage ECN activities for VA/VE initiatives.
  • Coordinate line extension projects with internal teams and OEMs to meet launch timelines.
  • Collaborate with teams to qualify local suppliers for cost reduction and localization.
  • Apply knowledge and experience to develop functionally complete designs in a timely manner.
  • Summarize and report project status to the Project Manager and cross-functional teams.
  • Act as Lead Project Engineer when required.

What We Expect:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in small electrical appliances or floor care products.
  • 3+ years of experience in a factory Engineering department, working from concept to production; VA/VE experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience of household appliance or floor care product project management, preferred
  • Knowledge of plastic part design & basic concept of tooling structure and molding process.
  • Understanding for regulation standards such as UL, IEC and chemical requirement-ROHS, REACH, etc.
  • Rich project management concept & skills.
  • Good communication skill and know how to work with suppliers and internal departments to get required output.
  • Good analytical skills, quick learning ability, good team spirit, target-oriented working style.
  • Professional and positive attitude, self-motivated, well organized, diligent.
  • Proactive, hardworking, and self-motivated.
  • Able to work under pressure and across different time zones.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision.

Education/Certifications/Affiliations

  • University degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Mechanical Design, etc.) preferred.
  • Familiar with MS office tools, with good commend for software Word / Excel / MS Project.
  • Fluent English in writing and speaking for communication essential, Mandarin would also be an advantage.
  • PMP Certification would be an advantage.

Travel Requirements

  • International travel as required per project needed.
