Senior Production Manager (Rigid Packaging)

KEY OBJECTIVES

• Ensure operational excellence in productivity, cost, quality, safety, and delivery.
• Support operational strategy execution to achieve growth and profitability.
• Build a capable, high-performing workforce.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BRC, and applicable regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Plant Manager in managing overall factory operations and QMS effectiveness.
• Ensure quality policies, procedures, and standards are implemented across departments.
• Manage daily production performance, cost control, inventory, and KPI achievement (OEE, scrap, efficiency).
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, process optimization).
• Handle customer requirements, complaints, audits, and improvement actions.
• Develop manpower planning, training, performance management, and team capability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support budgeting, operational planning, and reporting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related fields.

Experience

• 68 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in supervisory/managerial roles.
• Experience in plastics, packaging, or FMCG manufacturing is an advantage.

Skills

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Solid manufacturing and process knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
• Customer-oriented and continuous improvement mindset.
