We are hiring a senior product person to join our team to develop exciting projects.
Our team runs fairly small, flat, and experienced. While hiring is an important tool for this role, Saola's hiring philosophy is to stay as small as possible, for as long as possible, with talent density as high as possible. The size of one's team does not measure impact here.Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for blockchain-based products, aligning them with business objectives and market opportunities
- Translate user needs and business requirements into clear and actionable product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work with engineering team to get quality projects shipped on time
- Identify stakeholder needs and turn them into product requirements
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and demos to update stakeholders on the progress, milestones, and key decisions
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals
- Own the product roadmap and manage the product backlog
Requirements
- 4+ years of product management in fintech, investing, or DeFi consumer applications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field of study
- MUST communicate English well (write, read, speak and listen)
- Experience managing day-to-day technical direction for products, systems, or platforms of scale
- Ability to translate highly technical concepts into non-technical terms
- Experience writing/maintaining clear docs and notes
- Strong knowledge of blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Remix, Ganache, Infura), and familiarity with blockchain development tools and frameworks
- Experience with product management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, and proficiency in product management tools such as Jira or Trello
- Passionate about blockchain technologies and DeFi protocols
