Responsibilities
- Handle daily purchase requests from cross-functional teams
- Develop and implement global procurement policies, standard operating procedures aligned with business goals for Vietnam, India, Thailand, and Romania; ensure adherence across all entities
- Work with Head of Procurement end-to-end procurement processes (Procurement to Payment Process): vendor sourcing, request for information (RFI), request for proposal (RFP), request for quotation (RFQ), supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding, etc.
- Compare pricing, evaluate total cost of ownership, negotiate terms and conditions, and secure favorable commercial agreements with suppliers and service vendors.
- Conduct market intelligence and supplier risk assessments to ensure resilience and diversified supplier bases
- Manage logistics, including import/export procedures, customs compliance, incoterms, and cross-border transportation to support multi-country operations
- Negotiate and manage contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and master terms with suppliers; ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across categories (hardware, software licenses, services, logistics, etc.), including supplier consolidation, renegotiation, and process efficiency improvements
- Lead purchasing planning and demand planning activities; coordinate with Finance, IT, Operations, HR-Admin and regional teams to align budgets and procurement calendars
- Manage supplier performance metrics, conduct regular supplier reviews, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare and present procurement dashboards, risk reports, and cost-savings analyses to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement
- Experience: 5+ years in procurement/supply chain with global or regional leadership roles; experience across multiple countries and industries is highly desirable.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) with excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to interact effectively with vendors across multiple countries and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in IT/Tech sector procurement is a plus
- Strong knowledge of international trade, import/export procedures, customs, incoterms, and cross-border logistics.
- Ability to develop and implement procurement policies, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in ERP/Procurement systems, Excel, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational structure; willingness to travel as needed.
