We are seeking multiple Battery / Laser Welding Engineers (Process, Preventive Maintenance, Design) at various seniority levels to support the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of laser welding processes for battery cell production and advanced assembly operations.
You will serve as the technical interface between R&D, New Technology Development, and Operations, ensuring stable, high-quality, and scalable welding processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Battery, Chemical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3-10 years in Battery Manufacturing / Laser Welding or high-volume manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge in Battery/Chemical/E&E Engineering or Mechatronics, Machining, Stamping, Injection Molding, Mechanical Assembly.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering development: new process/equipment implementation, throughput/quality improvement, cost reduction.
- Ability to work with prototypes, validate time/cost, and support new process trials.
- Knowledge of GD&T, PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans.
- CAD ability for tooling/fixture design (preferred).
- Familiar with Kaizen, 5S, VSM, OEE, Time Studies, Line Balancing.
- Understanding of financial impact of process issues and solutions.
