Job Description
Responsible for building, developing, and managing the engineering team at the HCM Site; building a body shop team for clients at the HCM site; ensuring the team's delivery capacity, meeting project requirements, and supporting personnel expansion according to the company's development direction.
Acting as a bridge between clients, senior management, and the technical team to ensure the quality, progress, and operational efficiency of projects.
- Main Responsibilities
- Team Building and Development
Participate in building the human resource development strategy for the HCM Site.
Proactively recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates suitable for project needs.
Building a team from the ground up, expanding to 5–20+ members.
Training, mentoring, and coaching new employees.
Establishing career paths for team members.
Building a positive work culture, enhancing employee engagement and retention.
- Project Management and Delivery
Managing resources and allocating personnel according to project requirements.
Monitoring the progress, quality, and performance of the team.
Proactively identifying and addressing project-related risks.
Ensuring projects are implemented on schedule, with quality and within budget.
Participating in resource planning and project development planning.
Conducting periodic performance reviews.
Organizing one-on-one meetings with team members.
Supporting the resolution of personnel-related and team operational issues.
Successor Planning.
Guidance and development of Technical Leaders within the team.
- Presales and Business Development Support
Participate in technical discussions with clients.
Assist with estimates, proposals, and solution designs as needed.
Collaborate with the sales department to expand new project opportunities.
Build technological capabilities to meet market demands.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Team Leader, Project Manager, or equivalent position.
Experience in building and developing teams from the early stages.
Experience in recruitment, training, and personnel management.
Strong communication, management, and coordination skills.
Understanding of software development workflows (Agile/Scrum).
Ability to work directly with international clients.
Good spoken and written English.
Experience working with global clients.
Preferred
Experience managing a team of 10–30 members.
Experience in an Offshore/Outsourcing environment.
Experience in recruitment networks in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ability to participate in presales and organizational development.
