Reports to: Senior DTC Growth Manager
ABOUT LIXIBOX
Lixibox is a beauty-tech company building and scaling beauty and wellness brands across Vietnam, the U.S., Canada, and Southeast Asia. Backed by Silicon Valley investors, we combine brand building, e-commerce, technology, and operations to bring products to consumers through Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Shopee, retail partners, and our own DTC channels.
As we expand internationally, we're building the next generation of operators and growth talent who want to work beyond a single market — global scope, multiple countries and functions, based in Vietnam.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Executive to own everything that happens in a search box — organic, AI-generated, and paid — across two international brands.
Search is where our economics are most repairable. Non-branded organic is under-built on both brands, our product feed is losing clicks to its own duplicates, and paid search is our best-performing paid channel by ROAS while carrying a small share of spend. This role exists to compound the first two and scale the third.
This is not a keyword-list role. You will be expected to think commercially, own numbers, and defend your recommendations with data.
I. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Search Engine Marketing (Search, PMax, Shopping)
- Own account architecture end to end: Search, Performance Max, Shopping, and retargeting — including a clean brand / non-branded separation so brand demand is never counted as acquisition.
- Build, launch, and optimize campaigns against a target ROAS and a cost-of-sale ceiling; manage bids, budgets, match types, negative lists, and asset groups.
- Own daily and weekly budget pacing across both brands.
- Manage copy and asset testing systematically — one variable at a time, with a documented read-out.
- Track and defend brand impression share against competitor conquesting; know the cost of that defence and whether it is worth paying.
- Evaluate and propose channel extensions (Microsoft Ads, YouTube, Google free listings, etc.)
2. Search Engine Optimization (technical, onpage, offpage)
- Own technical SEO for both storefronts: crawlability, indexation, canonicals, site speed, internal linking, structured data, and log-level diagnosis when needed. This task is in collaboration with our Dev team.
- Own migration safety for the Halio revamp: a frozen pre-launch Search Console baseline, a complete redirect map for collapsed collections and renamed products, and a post-launch monitoring window with a rollback trigger.
- Build and run the content engine: category and mechanism-level education, comparison and alternative pages, and buying guides — briefed, shipped, and measured on non-branded clicks and assisted revenue, not word count.
- Own on-page SEO and PDP optimization in partnership with the internal Merchandising, Dev and Brand team.
3. AEO / GEO — answer engine presence
- Own how both brands appear in AI-generated answers: schema coverage (Product, FAQ, Review, Organization), agents.md, entity consistency, and citation-worthy source content.
- Maintain a monitored prompt set per brand and category, tracking citation presence and answer accuracy over time; escalate factual and claims errors.
- Build the comparison and best X for Y content layer that answer engines actually cite, coordinated with the competitive tracker so positioning is consistent.
4. Measurement and reporting
- Analyse CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS, using GA4, Search Console, Google Ads, Merchant Center, and Shopify — and reconcile between them before publishing a number.
- Distinguish incremental from harvested demand. Where volume allows, propose brand-search holdout or geo tests rather than asserting incrementality.
- Deliver one weekly search scorecard per brand and a monthly review with a ranked set of recommendations, each with an expected impact and a cost.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Non-branded organic clicks and revenue grow quarter over quarter on both brands, and you can show which pages did it.
- Paid search scales without its efficiency collapsing, and the brand / non-branded story is separated cleanly enough that leadership can see what we are actually buying.
- The Halio revamp ships without an organic traffic loss we did not predict, size, and plan for.
- When someone asks an AI assistant which red light device brand to buy, we are in the answer — and the answer is factually correct.
- Problems in search are caught by you before they are caught by anyone else, and resolved without unnecessary escalation.
II. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- 3+ years in performance marketing or e-commerce growth with hands-on ownership of Google Ads at US$5k+/month, including Performance Max and Shopping.
- Demonstrable SEO ownership: technical audits, content programmes, and at least one site migration or replatform you protected traffic through.
- Proven ability to grow e-commerce revenue in the U.S. or another international market.
- Exposure to AEO/GEO, schema, or LLM-surfacing work is a strong advantage
- Experience on Shopify (Shopify Plus preferred) is a plus.
- Strong analytical toolkit: pivot tables, GA4 explorations and funnels, Search Console, Lighthouse, attribution logic. Comfortable in raw performance data.
- Able to spot when a number is wrong before using it.
- Fluent written and verbal English; capable of briefing writers and developers precisely.
- Fast adoption of new tools and platforms, including AI tools.
Mindset
- Integrity and honesty — the full picture, especially when results are below target.
- Ownership and accountability for outcomes, not activity.
- Meticulous attention to detail: budgets, naming conventions, and tracking double-checked before launch.
- Commercial curiosity — you want to know why the number moved.
- Proactive, not reactive. You spot issues before the dashboard does.
- Collaborative, direct, and comfortable being challenged on your reasoning.
