About the role:
We are seeking a senior, highly driven People Operations Specialist to fully own our HR & Operations function across Vietnam and the US. This role is critical to ensuring seamless, compliant, and efficient people operations while supporting a fast-growing, US-based AI startup environment.
The ideal candidate thrives in startup pace, takes full responsibility end to end, and is comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
What you'll own:
- The full employee lifecycle across Vietnam and the US onboarding, offboarding, contracts, documentation, and everything in between
- Payroll coordination via Gusto for the US and contractor management across both markets
- Benefits administration and compliance, with an eye on US requirements
- HR systems accuracy Gusto, Fidelity, ... with clean and correct data
- Serve as the primary contact and escalation point for HR-related questions from employees and managers in both Vietnam and the US
- Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion, fairness, and empathy
- Coordinating with recruitment partners to support hiring
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years in People Ops, HR Operations, or HR Generalist roles ideally in a tech startup or high-growth environment
- Real experience owning HR end-to-end
- Comfortable operating across Vietnam and the US simultaneously
- Strong English communication, because you'll be working with a US-based leadership team daily
- High attention to detail and a bias toward documenting, simplifying, and improving not just executing what's in front of you
- Discretion with sensitive information and steady judgment when things get ambiguous
