Job Summary
As an R&D Packaging Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the development, testing, and implementation of innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions for FMCG products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D Formulation, Marketing, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure packaging meets functionality, quality, cost, and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct research on packaging materials, structures, and technologies to support innovation and product launches.
- Develop and execute packaging trials, performance tests, and shelf-life evaluations.
- Work with suppliers to identify, source, and qualify new packaging materials and components.
- Contribute to cost optimization initiatives through material and design changes without compromising quality or performance.
- Support sustainability goals by exploring eco-friendly and recyclable packaging alternatives.
- Support the creation of packaging specifications, drawings, and documentation for new and existing products.
