Senior Ops Automation Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a pivotal, high-leverage role that will define how we operate and scale our logistics SaaS platform. You'll report directly to and partner closely with the founder, and work alongside some of the sharpest engineering minds in the world.

As a senior IC, you will own — end to end — the automation and observability layer that lets our Operations, Engineering, and Customer Success teams across Asia and the Americas move fast without breaking things. That means sitting with stakeholders to extract the real problem behind the stated one, then designing, shipping, and maintaining the pipelines, sidecars, and tooling that turn messy manual workflows into reliable, observable, self-healing systems.

You will build the dashboards, alerts, and on-call tooling that surface what is happening and why, so issues are caught and resolved before customers ever feel them. You will set the technical bar for how automation is built here, and mentor those who come after you.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

•     6+ years of production experience writing clean, maintainable Python and/or JavaScript, plus strong SQL, along with the expert judgment to know when a 50-line script beats a framework

•     Deep, hands-on ownership of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) and modern version control workflows

•     Mastery across APIs, databases, and cloud platforms, with a track record of stitching disparate systems into something coherent and durable

•     Strong instincts for observability: metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, and the discipline to instrument before you ship

•     The communication chops to drive technical decisions with both engineers and non-technical operators, and to disagree well

•     Fluency in both English and Vietnamese

BONUS POINTS

•     Prior staff-level or tech-lead experience

•     Having owned an on-call rotation end to end
